East Peak is one of two major high points that make up the Hanging Hills formation which sits above the city of Meriden, CT. Of the 300+ established routes at East Peak there are a lot of hidden gems and many sleepers. The two-star routes are really good and the three- and four-star routes are among the best in the state of Connecticut. East Peak also has a serious sense of adventure for being an urban crag. East Peak's best seasons are late fall through early spring. Stick to the starred routes, take note of the quality warnings, and enjoy this amazing resource.
