Gunks Apps is expanding throughout the U.S. (and abroad) creating high quality digital guides for rock climbing and bouldering. Our platform provides users with maps and GPS to reach the routes, photos with lines, descriptions written by a local, and more. Gunks Apps is searching for author partners for both new and established areas. Authors should have deep roots in the local climbing community. Preferably authors are also route developers, stewards, and have ties to a climbing coalition if one exists for the area.

The workflow is made simple with our "Gunks Author" app. It's a development tool that allows you to type descriptions, take photos, draw lines, record GPS, and more all on your phone! The same capabilities are available in a web interface for when typing and editing is more easily done with a physical keyboard and a larger screen. Our team is available to help throughout the process.

Authors receive a share of every sale (more than twice what a print publisher would give), a lifetime subscription to all our digital guides, social media promotion, gym banners, and stickers to help promote the guide. No area is too small or too big to document! If you have already documented an area in print we can convert your content to digital in our app platform as well.
